DIRECTOR’S MEETING

Meeting of the Directors of the Lynchburg Glass Corporation was held in the Director's Room of the peoples National Bank at 10:30 A. M., Monday, November 17th [1924] with the following present:

N. D. Eller
J. William Gayner
J. D. Owen
John Victor
C. M. Guggenheimer
C. L. Snidow
R. C. Watts
W. H. Loyd

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

The President made a statement advising that the Fruit Jar press received from the Gayner Glass Works had been upset and considerably damaged in transit in the car and that Mr. Gayner was of the opinion that it could not be used, without being returned to the factory and being rebuilt.

The president then described, the situation with regard to a slightly used Press of modern design offered by the Miller Machine & Mould Works of Columbus, Ohio, at a price of about two thirds the value of a new machine and he expressed the opinion that this Press could be used in conjunction with the Mould equipment belonging to the Gayner Machine.

It was the unanimous opinion of the Board that Mr. Eller should investigate this proposition and call a meeting of the Board as soon as the data was secured and decide on the matter.

There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
